What is the Tantric Full Moon Ritual?
This experimental workshop is a guided, three-hour ritual to consciously complete the current lunar cycle and plant the seeds for the month to come. Rooted in classical tantric principles, this is a space to move from doing into being, using ancient techniques to align your personal energy with the potent cleansing energy of the full moon.
We will co-create a sacred container, building a communal altar that holds our collective intention. Through explanation, mantra, and deep, shared meditation, we will journey inward to release what no longer serves and invite in clarity and purpose for your next chapter.
What can the Tantric Full Moon Ritual do?
The idea is to provide a ritualistic framework to mark the ending of one cycle and start the next, set powerful intentions, let go of what does not serve us
- It is a conscious pause for reflection and release
- It deepens your connection to cyclical energy and your own inner rhythms
- We use the vibrational power of sutras (sacred texts) to open the body, the mind and the heart for the coming cycle
- It is a way to foster a profound sense of community and shared energy in a safe container
- With a gentle, nourishing close to integrate the experience
What to expect from this event
The evening will flow in three distinct segments, designed to guide you gently into a deep state of awareness and back out again.
First Hour: Foundation & Intention. We will begin with an explanation of the ritual’s structure and the classical tantric principles behind it. This segment concludes with the reading of a selected sutra from which you will choose a sentence for contemplation in the coming meditation.
Second Hour: Deep Meditation. The core of the evening is a one-hour meditation focused on your potent sentence from the sutras. This is a journey inward, a chance to truly listen and receive insight.
Third Hour: Landing & Integration. We will gently return to the space, sharing the fruits from our communal altar to ground the energy back into our bodies. This is a time for soft, mindful sharing and integration. Conscious, consensual cuddling is available for those who wish to continue the connection in a held, platonic space.
What does it mean that it is an experimental workshop?
This is the first time that I am doing this workshop, in an attempt to explore and share this practice in an accessible format. This means that:
- You get this event at a much cheaper price than normal, with an opportunity to donate if you are in abundance
- The structure is not fully fleshed out – so hickups may occur, since it is still in trial phase
- Your opinion and feedback is important, and you have an opportunity to influence future events
Who is this for?
This ritual is for anyone seeking a meaningful, structured way to go deep into themselves, release, and integrate in a cyclical manner. It is perfect for those curious about classical tantra, meditation, and community rituals in a safe, guided setting. No prior experience is necessary.
What is the communal altar?
In the center of our space, we will co-create a powerful altar. Upon arrival, it has already been built, with statues of Shiva, Ganesh, aso., but it needs your energy and unique touch. You are therefore invited to bring objects from home to contribute—a crystal, tarot cards or a deck, a photo, your own statue, or anything you need charged for the coming cycle – and fruit to adorn, as a symbol of abundance.
The middle of the altar will have a display for intentions, which will be set on the day and carried through to the next cycle.
Through this, our communal altar becomes the physical heart of our shared intention for the evening, previous cycle, and the potential of the coming.
Can I join as a beginner?
Absolutely. This ritual is designed to be accessible. The guidance will be clear, and you are always invited to participate in a way that feels right for your body and energy levels. The most important thing you can bring is an open mind and a willingness to be present with yourself.
The meditation will be in a relaxed seated position, preferably without back support if possible. If any physicality prevents you from this, please let me know beforehand so I can find a way to support you.
What to wear and bring?
- Comfortable clothing you can meditate and relax in. This is an inward journey, so focus on comfortability
- A water bottle with a closed lid and pen and a journal for writing down insights
- An object for the altar – cards, crystals, pendants, a book, a photo, a statue, or the like, that you want charged
- Fruits for our communal altar – bananas, grapes, dates, aso., to be eaten after the meditation
- An open heart and mind
